Sansevieria Superba AKA Snake Plant, Mother in law’s tongue, Viper’s bowstring hemp, St. George’s sword This variegated snake plant has green-banded leaves and commonly features a yellow border. Snake plant is ideal for beginner gardeners as it is difficult to kill. It’s excellent in a container and grows well on the floor or tabletop displays. This plant is drought-resistant but is susceptible to overwatering, leading to root rot. Bedrooms and living rooms are good spots to put your Sansevieria because it removes air toxins. Light: Snake plants prefer indirect but steady light with some direct sun. However, they can also adapt to full sun conditions and survive in dimly lit situations. Water: Allow the top of the soil to dry out before watering.
