Sedum Blue Aka: Sedum Blue pearl, Blue Sedum…. A favorite for troughs or hypertufa containers. Charming nuggets of succulent foliage in ever-changing hues form a carpet of tight broccoli-like florets. Evergreen foliage of silvery blue is kissed with pink in summer. Cooler temperatures bring deeper blues, purples and rose tones. White blooms in summer are blushed with pink. Water: Sedum are drought tolerant and thrive in well-drained soil. It is best to give the plant a good slow drink and allow the soil to dry out again before the next watering. Light: Stonecrops grow best with full sun and a dry climate. During the hot summers, plan to water every 7-10 days.
