Fittonia Fittonia is a lovely plant with delicately veined, deep green leaves. Although the most popular vein color is silvery white, you can also readily find Fittonia with veins in pink, white, and green. They are available as trailing houseplants or low-growing creepers that are perfectly fit for terrariums or bottle gardens. Its spreading habit makes it ideal as groundcover. Light: Fittonia prefer bright, indirect light. Never place this plant in direct sun. Water: Fittonia loves water and to be consistently moist, but not soggy. Water thoroughly when the top 50% of soil is dry. If you let your Fittonia dry out too much, it will let you know with limp leaves.
